sometimes it takes a while you update if it doesn't show up in a couple hrs just unselected and reselect the thumbnail

Yes VicBoss is right sometimes it takes a while to cache and show up. Give it some time.

It will take some time. Here's what you can do. When you upload the video, set it to private. When it's done uploading, change the thumbnail, and then set the video to public.
