Got my first Hater! So it begins!

It's such a sad thing to see that people need to spend their time dragging down others online. I think it's something missing in their own lives that makes them so miserable.

I like your attitude towards the end there Remember that any hate message says more about the commenter than you. No person who is happy with their life and themselves feels the need to put others down. So haters don't just have mental issues, they're also unwilling to work on them and look for a quick fix in an immature way. You're so much better than that!

So after almost 4 months of putting up daily vlogs, I got my first hater. Some guy who found me on twitter sent me 5 tweets and proceeded to tell me that nobody cares about my boring life and I should stop stuffing my face with food and get up off the couch and exercise. And also that I should talk about the national day and not about my life because who cares. Otherwise it's false advertising. He also said a few other fun things but you get the point.
Well, I knew this day would come. I've been mentally preparing for this because youtube is the internet and with the internet comes people who say harsh things from behind their keyboards.
And for the most part, I've shrugged it off and tried to laugh. But I'll admit, it did hurt a little. And it even got me to thinking maybe doing the videos was stupid and silly. But then I knew that that's what he wants and he will not win!
I'm doing these youtube videos for fun and for the memories. Screw him if he doesn't like it. It's time for my skin to get tough! lol. Bring on the haters!

Good for you man! Don't let these trolls get to you. They hide behind their keyboards and anonymity on the internet. Just ignore them and have fun. If it's constructive criticism then you should look into it, but if it's clearly hate just move on. Keep your head up and best of luck !

Haters adds fun to what you create! You will always get them and its fun to just laugh about it but whatever you do.. DO NOT let it knock your confidence because you will then be fighting a losing battle emotionally to carry on creating good content and you will slowly stop trying as much. You should tell him that he has some good ideas and ask if he recommends any good exercise programs. Ask what gym he goes to and see if he can put in a good word with the owner for you so you can get a discount. That's my type of tactic for dealing with haters.

The more popular you get the more haters you will receive. The thumbs down are a nice indicator. I don't care about them, and if their comments are off the chain I delete them and ban them from my channel. I am only looking for positive energy and constructive criticism!
