Maybe it's because I call it a cappuccino when it really isn't one (Since I don't use espresso) but is there anything wrong with it? I really enjoyed making it and it really did make a nice cup of coffee

I think it's fine and rather a good video. Reddit's just a tough crowd sometimes. Some subreddits can get you to the top page, others will absolutely hate you.

Posting on Reddit will pretty much always bring hate, even if the video does well on there and you end up on the main page. People just have very polarized opinions on there and no filter on what they say. It can be a great tool for getting views, you just have to make sure you have thick skin. It's a great way to work on getting some criticism calluses too where you learn to not care so much if people don't like you.

So proceed with caution when posting (make sure you aren't violating their self-promotion ratio), enjoy the views boost, and ignore the dislikes. Take Redditors' comments with a huge grain of salt.

I've noticed that. I'll post my video on one subreddit (like /r/coffee) and it'll get ignored at best and downvoted to oblivion usually. Other smaller subreddits, I'll get like 20 upvotes but 3-5 comments just hating on it. It's a confusing crowd for sure. I'm glad you liked it though, thank you.[DOUBLEPOST=1476825168,1476825085][/DOUBLEPOST]

Polarized is right! I'll make a typical reddit comment and get 70 upvotes whereas I post something I've worked really hard on and get downvoted to angry downvote oblivion. The views are nice and I feel like I've gotten some subscribers from there but I definitely agree with taking their comments with a huge grain of salt (more like a pound of it!).

See the thing is sometimes, even when you resubmit to the SAME subreddit at a later point in time (like a few months later, not earlier) then it might hit it off. The Hydraulic Press channel had that happen.. and now look where it is. Crazy crowd over on reddit

huh I didn't know that's how they did it. I thought they just randomly struck gold over there!
