Full HD Vegas Pro

Ive started using Vegas Pro, however i film in HD but the outcome video is not poor but its not brilliant and definatly not in HD, how do i render the video into HD ready for upload. On CorelVideo Studio Pro i could save the file as a file ready for YouTube(HD)

Is it full HD 1080p (1920x1080) or 720p (1280x720) that you're working with/wanting?

it begins on my phone as 800x480 in HD just wanting to know what to save it as in Sony so it stays HD

I havent worked with anything at that resolution myself, maybe someone else could chime in here I know you could upscale but it could result in loss of quality.

I think i may have sorted it, whilst having a nosey, i have been clicking on 'Render As' rather then 'Capture Video'
