First look at the new youtube channel design

Yeah, that's a heck of a point. That is extremely important to gaming channels. Maybe that'll be the only kinds of networks left. :)
 
Yep.... I think I will use less youtube now. I mean in the beginning it was everything about creativity etc and now we don't have a background anymore. Only a banner. I think i'm going to search a new hobby.

I think I'll be using it until something new comes out. It'll be the same as Facebook and MySpace.
 
And I was just thinking. I feel really bad for graphic designers that do youtube backgrounds. There are some really talented people out there that make some really cool backgrounds (like the guy that did mine). And for some of them that's how they make their money. What are those guys going to do?
 
I can't believe how overwhelming the new layout is, along with removal of partner benefits, you just get a screen filled with videos from top to bottom.

like most other changes, i don't think the general public likes it. I'm pretty sure the general public would prefer going back to the OLD ways where you can customize everything including the text colors and background of the entire page. YouTube makes these changes based on hits and what would attract the most attention, not what looks the best. We just have to work with what we got.
