Filming in New Zealand

Hi everybody!
My name is Johan and I'm currently planning a trip to New Zealand. I really want to shoot some videos while there and I was just wondering if anyone knows any beautiful or cool places to shoot at. Mainly I want beautiful scenic places that would do well in a nature/timelapse video, but I would also appreciate some tips on cool activities (that are possible to film) and good places to try them.

Check out Devin Super Tramps videos, he's been to New Zealand recently and filmed in some really awesome place and also does some really awesome activities.
 
Recently just came back from there. Lots of cool footage can be filmed flying into NZ. It is also the home of the bunjee jump and I don't know what they are called but they are these large balls people bounce around in. I think it starts with Z. Anyway lots of activities to film. You will probably need a car and most towns are small and I was shocked at how expensive everything is.
 
New Zealand is so beautiful. One Island more so than the other but I forget which oops. From off the top of my head go to Rotorua and film at the hot springs or drive anywhere for mountains and luscious hills. I am so excited for you
