The gaming industry is far from dying. Its actually growing at an extremely fast rate. Especially with eSports these days. Starcraft 2, League of Legends etc is growing stupidly fast.
Edit: I agree that console gaming may come to an end one day but PC gaming will never end. The reason i believe this is because every console is inferior to the PC. You can play Ps3, Wii, Xbox 360, Psp, DS etc all on the PC with an emulator and you can also use all the controllers on a PC too.
