Don't Get Offended But I Hate Vloggers

Okay, so hopefully you read the title. You've had a fair warning.

I hate vloggers. Not all vloggers, that would be cruel to stereotype them. I hate most vloggers. I say this, being a comedy vlogger.

Okay, so you vlog about your life, right? Why do I care that you went to your grandmother's house and helped your cousin cook her a roast? Why should I care what you do? Are you famous? No? Are you being funny? No. Just talking about your day is not entertaining to me. If I wanna hear about somebody's normal boring average life, I'd go out and life my life. But no, instead I'm inside listening to you ramble on about your pot roast and how cute you think your baby is, which I hate to break it to you, I don't agree with in the least bit. I hate babies. (most babies).

Sorry for the little rant, but I had to just share how I feel. Again, this is MY opinion. Yours can differ. I'm not attacking anyone in particular this topic has just been on my mind for the last couple days. Why do you watch vloggers? Why do you care about their lives? I wanna try to see from your POV.

It's your opinion. Some people hate gamin, react, fashion and anime channels and it not offend me. It's makes me stronger by the end of the day.

i watch vloggers from time to time, just because when I see how weak the middle class white people who vlog are, it makes me feel good about myself.

I agree with OP and yes, even the bigger channel vlogs are boring unless they're actually talking about something. I don't care about your boring a** life, no matter who you are. I'd rather hear your opinions on the latest movies or whatnot than hear you talk about your dog.

I love vloggers... even if it's not funny or super exciting! It's like sitting and having a coffee with someone. It's great to listen to people talking in the background while I work and most of the time there is something funny or uplifting there! Not ALL vloggers though of course haha.

I agree with you that vlogging (as in the recording your life kind) does seem a bit pointless, and I find most vlogs boring. The only time I actually enjoy watching vlogs is when the person does something interesting or out of the ordinary. But that doesn't mean I hate vloggers, because there are plenty of people who do enjoy vlogs, so it's good that there are people out there making them. They're just not for me.

I agree that most vlogs can be boring if they are on the everyday life of the person that is recording it. However, with that being said, if a vlogger can incorporate a powerful message in every vlog that is different every day then they become interesting for me. It then kind of turns into the equivalent of reading a column, but instead of reading the content you are watching it.

All in all, I think the reason that people watch videos (or do almost everything in life) is because they feel they somehow gain something from doing it (money, job security, a partner, a good feeling, you name it). If a video, like a quality text, has a message that resonates and sticks with people then that makes for an interesting video. It is just as possible for a vlog to get this job done as it is for any other video, in my opinion.
