Hey guys I was just wondering how many of you write down your script for each videos? Like do you know what to say in advance word by word? or do you just improvise and go with the flow?

For me I kind of know the topic I will be talking about but it's all improvised and on the spot. Since I'm doing challenge videos with funny reactions, I think it's more genuine when it isn't scripted but improvised!

Let me know what you guys do i'm curious!

I just write down my script on special notebook, then put some dialogs, then I put emphasis to it, improvise everything then shoot my video :D

I make a script for my review not long after I have finished recording the game-play clips while the game is fresh in my mind. Some lines I do add while I am recording not on the script but nearly all of it is from a script I have written.

I don't usually write it down, I just think of what I'm going to say and go with it. Unless I'm making a skit type of video, then I do. I did for the video in my signature:)

Thanks guys for the replies.. I'm looking through your videos at the same time to see scripted vs non-scripted trying to see what's different!

If it's for a channel update or something like that I find bullet points work well for me, just so I don't forget anything and just go with it from there.

I find if you practice this sort of technique you'll strengthen your ability to voice your thoughts a lot better.

I improvise in all of my videos, and just use the magical power of editing later.
