Do comments take a while to pop up on videos?

I had someone comment on my video and it popped up in my notifications but when I went to the video to reply, I couldn't find the comment and it said no comments found (I'm a brand new youtuber)
 
The comment might of registered as spam and is waiting for your approval. You can see if you have those when you go to your creator studio and go to community section. There are all your comments.[DOUBLEPOST=1466320461,1466320341][/DOUBLEPOST]If you got notification and dont see it in your community section whether in regular or spam tab then the person most likely deleted the comment.
 
Yesterday the comment section on YouTube got a little buggy for some folks. It happened to me.

Also, if a word in your comment post has a filtered word, it won't show up immediately.
