Channel Stalemate

I've Got It
I currently have 1,050 subscribers, and it has hovered around that area for quite some time now. I've been uploading quite frequently this month, and I am at least getting a few videos a week uploaded right now, sometimes daily. I consider my videos to be of high quality. My views are also lacking. I did branch out and start making videos of another game instead of just making my RuneScape videos (I do still make RS videos though). Anyone have any tips to get out of this?

My only idea of the cause is that I used to make guide videos for RuneScape, but I sort of stopped making guides and moved on to different types of gaming videos as I didn't find making guides enjoyable anymore. Maybe my channel is just adjusting to this transition?

I think that your change in content probably contributed to your decrease in views and lack of growth. Once you re-establish your core content you will definitely be back on a path of growth.
 
Guides and Tutorials will generally get you good views if they are done properly but just because they subscribed doesn't mean that they will look for your lets plays or gameplays or anything, just the guides.

This is my thought on the matter too. Remember, stalemate is only if you're in the same position for 50 moves. I'd say you're barely on move 10 :p
 
It is hard to kickstart a channel that has switched types of videos. I for one have switched the overall style of my channel and my views have dropped from 30k views a day to 2k. I know how it is! But you have to stick to it and keep making the content you want to do. After time it'll pay off and you'll start to see those stats rise again.

Its all about finding something that will work and sticking to it. The reason people subscribed to you in the first place was because you were giving content that they wanted to see, and as soon as that content changed they decided that your channel was not for them. I would suggest the next time that you want to try something new, pose it as a suggestion to your current viewers and they will probably be more open to the idea. Just my suggestion.
 
A content shift can definitely take time for an audience to adjust to. People often subscribe for a specific type of content, so building interest in a new format usually requires consistency and patience.
