Best Video Format

Hi! I'm a newbie, just wanna ask what's the best video format for Youtube? I use .wmv but seems a little garbled for me

Higher quality would be something like AVI or even MOV, and for faster uploading (poor quality) would be MP4.

i used .avi before but the last video i edited became 6GB and it's only very short, it'll take me forever to upload it

I use .wmv, just since it's what Sony Vegas makes mine, it only takes about 10mins or less to upload, and it's 1080p...

I use WMV myself, it produces fairly small file sizes without compromising too much quality. I do render in both 720p and full HD.
