Awkward Audio recording

Hana

Loving YTtalk
My older videos have no audio and I've just added text to them. Then I kinda realized it's kinda bad to not talk. Sometimes it's okay to talk in a video but sometimes I find it really hard, not sure why :/. Despite being quite talkative and not really thinking about what I say most of the time

Anyone have any point on this?

Will be appreciated!

It takes time to get used to talking to to a mic!
I'm an extremely talkativwe person, but sometimes i can't even say a sentence while recording!
But it's getting easier and easier!

Thanks, sounds cool. Sometimes I open my mouth to speak but nothing comes out D:

I've been doing this a year and I still sometimes get a little nervous when talking on a Mic and it usually takes me three or so stopping and starting of my audacity recording to get me started, once you start though it all just flows out and before you know it you are at the end of the video :).

I know it feels strange talking to non-animated object, but hey, I think talking to a mic is way better than talking to a real person (or maybe I'm just weird), because no one is judging you! You can say, scream, dance, or do any type of weird sounds as you like. Try to find some quite places, so people won't see you talking to your mic.

If you are to talk but worry about what to say and end up saying "um" and "uhh" a lot of the time then perhaps script what you want to say and use that as guidelines. saying umm and uhh a lot can be very off putting and also be sure you are very clear with what you say. I have seen some vids where the guy sounds like he's half asleep or really cannot be bothered lol

Yes, exactly! for today's video I wrote out the script so I said umm a bit less than before (check it out) then I got into the flow of it anyway xD
