How does YouTube do that on certain videos that are posted on websites/blogs?

I'm not sure how its done, but i posted one video on a different forum and it came up as seen on that forum, without asking me or anthing

YouTube tracks the analytics of your video, meaning they can tell where your traffic is coming from. This includes whether they're from specific related videos, a subscription feed, an annotation from another video, etc. They can also tell what website people may have been directed from, like if they were brought there from facebook or twitter. Some of mine say that for reddit, because I normally submit my videos there, and some catch on and get some traffic.
