Anyone Using VidIQ?

VidIQ helps to get rid of metadata that YouTube robot hates and VidIQ prevents vids from being flagged or/and demonetized, which is what the developers of VidIQ claim. If VidIQ is helpful, I am willing to pay even though I am not a fan of its interface.

Has anyone good experience?

I use that and tube buddy. I have found they work quite well, I used VID IQ for my first video and it got 2.6k views. It's quite helpful in writing descriptions and tagging a video. It's not a bad little tool to use at all :)

Be very careful when using 3rd party add-ons.

I would invite anyone already doing so or considering it to read this thread from the Youtube support forum:

TubeBuddy and VidiQ lead to account suspension

I quote:

____
All my friends using them (TubeBuddy and VidiQ) have got their Youtube channel suspended for YouTube’s Terms of Service, specifically section 4H (now section 5H) which says,

  1. You agree not to use or launch any automated system, including without limitation, "robots," "spiders," or "offline readers," that accesses the Service in a manner that sends more request messages to the YouTube servers in a given period of time than a human can reasonably produce in the same period by using a conventional on-line web browser. Notwithstanding the foregoing, YouTube grants the operators of public search engines permission to use spiders to copy materials from the site for the sole purpose of and solely to the extent necessary for creating publicly available searchable indices of the materials, but not caches or archives of such materials. YouTube reserves the right to revoke these exceptions either generally or in specific cases. You agree not to collect or harvest any personally identifiable information, including account names, from the Service, nor to use the communication systems provided by the Service (e.g., comments, email) for any commercial solicitation purposes. You agree not to solicit, for commercial purposes, any users of the Service with respect to their Content.

Now YouTube is not replying to their appeal.

Do your due diligence.

I just removed VidIQ from my browser. Thanks. Actually that was my initial concern and I also heard that the VidIQ company is YouTube-certified, so safe? I have also a "YouTube-certified" badge. Yet my videos are demonetized every now and then!

Anyway I'm asking because AI is messing with my channel in the past two days, so I am very much concerned. I guess I might be using certain words for metadata which YT AI bans. But if AI is self-taught and is changing on its own, how VidIQ knows which words AI bans?

Can't. They only make it for Chrome and I refuse to use Chrome.[DOUBLEPOST=1523543815,1523543763][/DOUBLEPOST]

Both are YouTube approved add ons.

I've tried both VidIQ and Tubebuddy and was underwhelmed. I wanted something that would give me information on keyword difficulty and search volumes and both tools were extremely inaccurate. I did several tests with the tools using keywords that I've already ranked in the top 3 positions- so I know how competitive they were and what kind of traffic they would bring in. Also, keep in mind that when the tools show you how your tags rank, those are personal results because you're logged into your account.

About "YouTube certified" from servicesdirectory.withyoutube.com

Please note that because these services are being provided by a third party, Google can neither guarantee the quality of the services nor assist you with any dispute that might arise between you and the service provider.
[DOUBLEPOST=1523548521,1523547802][/DOUBLEPOST]btw the CEO of VidIQ, Rob Sandie, was at VidCon EU 2018 in Amsterdam. He had 50 minutes but he finished his talk in 20 minutes. The CEO of VidIQ didn't have much to say about "Making the Right Data Driven Decisions to Grow Your Business." That was a shame.
