Adwords vs Virool.

Adsense is good for beginner.
There are many others ways to make money on youtube without using Adsense or this other thing.
I'm speaking about real money (200$+ per day) and not about one buck.

Since I joined Fullscreen I don't even care adsense anymore. Had about 5$ per day before I joined them...now its about 0,20$ lol.
So I started another way.

No this isn't about getting paid via a partner contract or Adsesne. This thread is about advertsising with Adwords or Virool.

I've used Virool a few times now and I have gotten engagement from them. First you only pay for views that last 30 seconds or longer. Then I've gotten likes (and dislikes), comments and even a few subs from it. They aren't bots, that much I'm pretty sure of.

Also when setting up a campaign you get to choose where your ads appear (online blog networks, gaming networks, virtual currency sites, and several other choices). It's not cheap, but it seems legit.

For the money it costs, you might as well pay people to give you shoutouts. :S

Not enough to be worth it. You'd get more engagement by other marketing means than paying a company to essentially "bot" your videos. Even with real views.

Again, it is my money. I don't do YouTube to make money. It's my hobby. I won't get back what I put into it, and that is ok with me.

Hey not attacking you, I just said it would be money better spent through other marketing means. No offence meant!

I know you were not attacking me, but you have not said what those other means are, or why they are better. For the $100 I put in so far, not only have I had a dramatic increase in views, I also got more engagement. Maybe not the level of engagement that successful YouTubers are used to, but more than I typically get.
 
I might be wrong, but from my understanding, anyone with a website can join the "Virool Publisher Network" (we actually considered joining it for our website) and by putting other people's videos on your site (which would be the videos of people who are using Virool to advertise their videos), you can make money from it. So yes, it's definitely legit. You're basically paying other people to feature your video on their website.

But in my opinion, Adsense is way better. Not only is it way cheaper, it's directly integrated with YouTube. So you're advertising to people who are already on YouTube and looking for videos to watch and channels to subscribe to. But you do have to be smart about it and do your research because you can easy spend a lot of money with very little return. We've had really bad campaigns in the past where we've lost a hundred dollars with hardly any new subscribers and just a lot of hate comments. But as I've gotten a bit better, we've also run some really successful campaigns that earned us a lot of new subscribers for very little money. I imagine it's possible to have a successful Virool campaign as well, I've just never used it personally.
