She makes an excellent point. What's the use of getting help from the bigger channels if we don't have quality material to back it up? If a larger channel happens to find us and think we've earned the chance for a larger fanbase, then maybe they'd mention us. But that would only happen after we work towards it, which is what her point was anyway.

Also you have to look at it from their perspective, if I were a sub-millionare (millions of years from now [but I'd be super dead by then]) I wouldn't want a lot of spammy comments saying "Come check out my channel" from someone who just started their channel a minute ago with one video but if I got PMs "like and comment my video for $1000 dollars, just give me your paypal email" I'd sell out real quick!
