    Usage Guidelines and Information

This thread is a resource for all members to help you understand how to use our logos and where we permit usage of them and where we dont.

To help maintain our name when talking about YTtalk in your videos please pronounce YTtalk as "YT talk" and when writing about YTtalk please capitalise the YT at the beginning and keep "talk" lower case. This will help to prevent any confusion about the YTtalk name.

When using our logos you are permitted to do the following:

[IMG] Use the YTtalk logo in your monetised YouTube videos, on your personal websites
(blogs/channel related websites) when linking to YTtalk.com and any pages on YTtalk.

[IMG] You may modify the colour of the YTtalk logo and video camera as per our colour guide below (other colours are not permitted) -

The YT and video camera portion of the logo must use one of the red colours above and the rest must be coloured using #202020 or #FFFFFF depending on the colour of the background the logo is being placed for example if the logo is being placed over a black background, the "talk" portion of the name will be best in white.

If necessary you may use the logo as solid white (#FFFFFF) or solid black (#202020) but not solid red.

[IMG] Make buttons for your website using the YTtalk logo and video camera linking to YTtalk.

[IMG] Use the YTtalk logos within your channel art on YouTube.

[IMG] Help to advertise YTtalk using the YTtalk logos (without spamming).

You are not permitted to do the following:

[IMG] Obscure the logo by placing text or images over it.

[IMG] Use the YTtalk logos as your own logo, combine it with your own or have it placed larger on your website than your own logos.

[IMG] Use the YTtalk logos in a way which may imply endorsement, affiliation, partnership or sponsorship by YTtalk.

[IMG] Use the YTtalk logos as part of your own services, websites, merchandise and any other commercial projects and uses without prior written permission, please contact us if you would like to do this.

[IMG] Use the YTtalk logos to impersonate YTtalk staff on YTtalk or any other websites.

[IMG] Use the YTtalk logos on websites or other materials which involve illegal activities or pornography.
