Youtube video editor

Hi there,
Just signed up and am looking for some help from this wonderful forum if that's ok?

I have a video that is 2mins .40 long and I'd like to chop the intro off I using the all new Youtube editor. It has over 500,000 views and I believe if your video has over 100,000 views this is not possible.

Someone online said that you could create a new video from the edit but that option doesn't seem to be there for me.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Only trimming for the moment. While pressing preview appear the save option.



Edit and save exists only on vimeo I think...

Does that mean if your video has over 100,000 views you can't trim it then?

Not sure about that,
they use to say that hitting "Save" on a video
cause the algorithm to reset everything in video's ranking
(except views offcourse).
