That is pretty basic on any site. You post something, we can use it. Same as when you go into a park you are granting them the right to use your image. But your comment made it look like they were trying to hold back the little guy. If anything that policy would cost the "already firmly established or mainstream media" more than most of us. If YT wants to make an add promoting YT and use anything of mine - I would be thrilled. But they are far more likely to use Ellen or Kimmel ha ha :)
