It's a good step in the right direction, but upon reading more closely there are still flaws. By the sounds of it, the 3rd party still gets the money from the moment they place a claim on the video, but rather than receiving money until the dispute is over, they receive it until the creator disputes the claim. So false claims can still steal income and not get penalised - and the system isn't in effect yet I believe, they didn't say it was active yet.
The other thing is that other creators say you can only dispute 3 copyright claims at a time (I've never had one, but I am very cautious about what I use in my videos!) - which may not be fair again, with automatic claiming some companies do.
