YouTube "fading" the color from my videos.

Is this happening to anyone else's videos? Anything thats supposed to be black ends up being a faded black, like as if YouTube is automatically adding brightness WITHOUT contrast to all of my videos and if there's a way to fix it can someone let me know? Thanks

I've noticed my videos look a bit faded when I don't watch my videos in HD 1080p, but as soon as I turn on HD, the colors come back.

I never noticed color shifts or fades in my uploaded videos. Have to admit though, I didn't yet compare them side-by-side to the edited source material or even the raw footage.
