Youtube channel name still available?

Hi there,

I've registered a Youtube channel account few days ago, but it's does not appear in the search. Even if I search it on namechk, it says that it's available on Youtube. I've only registered, didn't add nothing yet.

Is it normal?

Does your channel have public content (other than unlisted and private videos) on it? If not, that might be the reason for YT withholding your channel even on matching searches.
 
No, I've just registered, no videos, nothing yet. I'm just waiting for my banner to be done to start with it.

Just give it a try... record a quick video and add it. See how long it takes until your channel appears in specific searches.
The outcome is interesting for me as I have no videos on my second channel and it doesn't appear in searches, no matter what.
 
Weird that I've uploaded a few seconds video and a profile picture, but my channel still doesn't appear on search and still classified as available in namchk.

I dont understand!
