I am pretty decent at editing, but I am a huge noob at uploading videos properly to youtube, I know the player is 16:9 widescreen, and I know the videos I am uploading should be full screen, but that is all in theory. When the uploading completed, I had two horizontal bars at the top and bottom of my video. I was p****d. haha

Are there any specific settings I can do in vegas pro 11 to make sure this doesn't happen again? Because right now I put a code into the tags in order to force it into 16:9, and that degraded the quality quite a bit.

Thanks a lot,
Aron

My cousin laptop has black bars under and top all videos only because the screen is to big.

It depends on the software you are using to edit with as I have very specific Project and Render settings for Sony Vegas Pro 10.

Your problem could be as simple as EPC ( Event Pan & Crop ).

I agree with John, i had to use the "zoom'n'pan" option in Camtasia Studio to get the black bars off my video.

You're probably rendering it with the wrong settings. Ensure it's being rendered in the correct aspect ratio
