Hello,

I’m trying to upload my first 4k video to YouTube..... I’ve tried all sorts of settings on my render but every time the highest res the video is available in is 1080p even after 32 hours after being uploaded.

The video is most certainty 4k before I upload it.

I’ve also posted previous videos in 2.7k and they worked fine.....

Can anyone help?

(Hopefully this is the right area to post this in)

This happened to me several times. In one case it took hours to upload and stalled. In another case it only showd up as 1080P. I stop the upload if it stalls, or delete it if it is on as 1080P, and upload it again in 4K. It may have something to do with the bandwidth or traffic, but if the video stalls while uploading it's best to restart it. I've read that In some cases the 4K video shows 1080P immediately after the upload, but becomes 4K after several hours. In my case it stayed 1080P so I deleted it and tried again. On my third try with the same video it uploaded quickly and went right to 4K.
