Would this dog explode or cause a space/time rupture if we were gone and returned 6 months later?

I'm sure you've seen the videos where a soldier comes back from a 7 month deployment and their dog is super happy.... Ollie saw my girlfriend Jen the whole time walk the whole 50 feet away for about a minute, and this is how happy he was to see her return.
