Where do I put Lower Thirds so they don't get covered?

Hi Everyone!

Hope you all have had a great start to the week.

I searched and couldn't find anything on this topic, so thought I would ask here.

What is the best 'safe' distance in height to place a lower third or something in the upper area of a 1920p x 1080p video so that the YouTube Control Bar does not cover it? I am pretty sure the upper parts of the video area are 'safe', correct?

So how many pixels should I leave untouched at the bottom of a video to ensure that any lower third is not covered?

Thanks in advance!
Nat

You can put it anywhere to your liking, if someones mouse is not actively moving on the video, both the bar and the mouse pointer disappear! (Even when a video is not playing in full screen)

- Good Luck! Let me know if you have more questions :)
