What's the waiting period now for monetization?

Just curious as I'm working on a new channel.
Once one crosses the threshold (4K hours, 1K subs), how quickly are people getting approved?

I hear that it's not bad now, down to about a two weeks waiting period.

My wait time, after passing the YPP threshhold, was four days, including Saturday and Sunday

This just about confirms my theory that those who are kept waiting for months, have been shunted to yet another queue whose endpoint is mass-emailed rejection notices.
