You could always upload and monetize gameplay. Networks do nothing in regards to gaming material.
Not true at all. Before I was partnered with Fullscreen, I was partnered with just YouTube. I had maybe one or two videos that were able to be monetized but the MAJORITY were rejected because it was gameplay. Once I partnered with Fullscreen, ALL of my videos were monetized instantly. So I went from making no money to decent money even having them take a percentage. Unless you upload gaming videos, you won't understand how hard it is to make money only being partnered with YouTube. Thus why almost every big gaming channel is partnered with a network other then YouTube.
