What's the best gaming network to go with nowadays?

And welcome to an internet Forum, where your questions never get answered but the discussion goes on...

So to answer your question, UFG "Union for Gamers" is a great network, its owned by Curse they do a 90/10 gross split. They average 3-5 dollars to english speaking audiences and on my case 2-4 dlls on spanish speaking audiences. THERE IS NO LOCK IN you can leave the next month if they didnt meet your expectations. This network is mostly huge on the League of Legends youtuber community. Try them out they are great.

There is no answer to the question, which is the point of most of the people posting. We can go through the list of the base offerings of each of the networks, but for a channel with 86K subscribers that would be pointless since they all have different offers for channels of size. The discussion is pointless on a forum like this.

He just asked for recommendation of other networks and all this people turned this into a "do you even need a network discussion". Just answer his question god dam. Simple as that.

Your statement of ''bigger partners have less issues monetizing'' is a bit ambiguous.

Unless you're absolutely huge and we're talking about a few hundred thousand dollars monthly, the worst nightmare of a person who depends on YouTube money to pay the bills is that dreaded ''more information required'' when they try to monetize a video.

In my network we had a few partners, for example, that came to us after monetizing with YouTube and are earning more money because (1) no more information requests and (2) immediate monetization - most of which are not even gamers. These two things outweighed the fact that they were splitting a portion of earnings.

My advice is to partner, especially if you're a gamer or do anything YouTube might hassle you over.
It was always YouTube's policy to generally monetize instantly (instantly meaning 10 minutes or so) if you were a legacy partner or a high tier partner and I don't think they have changed this stance yet. Hell, at his size he might even be able to get a partner manager and then have his partner manager set him up for the backend of YouTube and claim his content instantly.

Fill your boots. While you're at it, make sure you spend the same amount of time answering the same exact question that shows up multiple times every day. After a few weeks, let me know how much you enjoy wasting time on people who can't be bothered to use the search function. At that point, you will have put in enough effort to lecture on the topic.

He asked what the best gaming network was (there is no best, let alone at the 86K sub marker where genuine unique contracts begin to take place), didn't give a lick of useful information for anyone to actually answer the question and now we have a white knight rushing to his rescue. Your answer of "go curse cause 90/10 and no lock" is meaningless when considering the potential contract possibilities for larger channels, which will only be discovered by inquiring with other networks. If we had some genuine contract offers to compare, then maybe there would be a discussion here.

Yet you just replied twice to what you call a waste of time...ironic isnt it.

You can't monetize gaming videos with Youtube it's considered copyrighted that's why you need to join a net

Jesus christ lol. I thought this site was about Youtube talk not a bunch of *******. Just wanted some advice or opinions from some of you guys that may have been around the block and know a lot about this stuff because I don't want to get locked into something I regret so thought I'd ask around a bit before I make a decision but I guess I just don't know how to use the 'search function'

If still interested for at least an opinion of fellow smaller youtuber... Lets leave the philosophy of there not being the best network and stuff like that..
I would try to aim for a higher positioned more serious and stable network, only names coming up on my mind tho are Fullscreen and TheGameStation.
Fullscreen is a great and i think serious network full of awesome people, especially the staff, on the other hand community isnt as active as you might wish it would be..
TheGamingStation, dont know much about them personally, but alot of nice youtubers are in it, seem to be quite happy there, also its ofcourse network designed and made for gamers so thats a + i guess.. And i've heard something, that they have one of those ultra licenses for every song you find on youtube, meaning you are allowed to use pretty much anything in your videos ? Might be awesome..

If you find something awesome, you could let me know so i could enhance my knowledge for the future :D

GL & HF !

EDIT: Yeousch also came up on my mind just now, i believe they are under Fullscreen as well, community is huge and probably awesome as well, as goes for network itself benefits and so, no idea.

YouTube auto-flags content more often because the network partnerships have a certain amount of front line liability (which doesn't protect you, but just makes life a bit easier on the monetization side) however the notion that you can't monetize game content is incorrect. There are numerous gamers who are with Adsense only and the common rumor that networks have licenses to monetize game content is also incorrect. There are no such agreements and everyone operates primarily off of fair use, whether on Adsense or with a network.

As to the search function, it works like the search function on every other forum ever created. This question is asked damn near every single day in brand new threads and is answered to varying degrees of success every day. There's a sticky thread at the top of this forum that talks specifically about game partnerships. The fact of the matter is that there is no single game network that is the best. If you have 86K subscribers as you say you do, then you should be pounding the pavement to see what contract offers they make because the base offer from any network is extremely unlikely to be the best offer that you'll get. Networks also do very little to help channels grow, so where you elect to station yourself is largely irrelevant unless you simply want to be with a bunch of other gamers for funsies. The general recommendation is to shoot for shorter contracts because it makes it more likely that the network will be responsive to your needs since you are able to leave in a shorter timeframe.

As I mentioned in the previous post directed at your query (not the two to the other forum poster), we need far more information to provide any kind of real detail. What contracts have you been offered? What network did you leave? What networks do you know about? What kind of content? Do you focus on collab or solo? What would make you regret locking in? Do you value money over all else or are features (music, analytics) more important? All you've done is come on and ask what is the best gaming network. That question was answered, there isn't a best.

If that makes any of us "*******", then so be it. Best of luck with your channel.[DOUBLEPOST=1380896654,1380896507][/DOUBLEPOST]

I don't believe that's entirely true. From what rumors and postings I've seen recently, Maker Studios is currently hashing out license agreements with the major labels but nothing overt was signed yet. Please anyone correct me if I'm wrong. Fullscreen was the only one for the longest time and they only had a partial catalog, though several of the major MCNs are now working on getting the ability to use licensed music across their partners.
