Try to look like a professional graphic design but you have to have skill in photoshop or something like that. And also do a catching one, like many people call it "clickbait" but make sure your "clickbait" thumbnail related to your video so people will not getting p****d when they clicked on your video

Try to make it personal and colorful! I have mine as a pastel background, my name, and pixel controllers since I do gaming videos! It's super simple but I feel like it looks nice and brings color to my channel!

I liked tye-dye so I used that =P. I'm not sure if it works well from my channel but I like the way it looks! I would just try to mimic something that would catch your eye but, like others have said don't totally copy what everyone in your niche is doing. It's usually best to stand out!
