What is the best way for me to promote my type of content?

Hello YTtalk,

I am asking this because I have tried different self promoting methods, and I wanted to know what you guys think is the best way to promote my style of youtube channel. My channel is about making/building different things. Thank you.

My first answer would be Reddit, but that would be a hit or miss, since if they feel you wronged them for some reason, they are going to be brutal!
My second answer would be that there´s a lot of topics on this subject on this forum and some might suit you well!

Reddit, especially DIY-centric subreddits. Twitter could also be a good option, but it's very hard to grow to a reasonable size on there.

Definitely reddit. A lot of people are there but it can backfire as well. One of my YouTuber friends told me to just be active on a specific subreddit, like talk with people, share ideas, and such then you can sneak a video in but it looks like a lot of work for me.
