Obs is good for streaming but not good quality for recording. Also it's files can't be edited in Vegas.

What settings did you use??? Filesize and bitrate were very low for anything that involves post-production editing.

Fraps I believe was free for a while. I think. Not sure, this was ike 5 years ago when I wanted to make gaming videos.
