Honestly i use Premiere elements 9 and i like it much more than Vegas. People like Vegas for its vast plethora of presets, which is something ive personally found invective in the least because of the great lack of originality involved in the editing process....so id say go with adobe XD

It's all about what your most comfortable with. Both can essentially do the same thing. Whichever software matches your pace better I'd go with.

personally if your comfortable with adobe then stick to it, but while you continue using adobe with sony vegas a try when you get time, I mean you have it so give it a try :)

I'd say go for the one with an interface you're more comfortable with. They both seem practically identical.

I would probably go with Sony Vegas...
I've heard many positive comments about that program.
