I find a lot of people want to jump into YouTube or are currently on YouTube but they are not getting the results they want. It simply comes down to this:

Are you willing to do what it takes to become a successful YouTuber?

WAIT!!!!! Let's back up a bit...

Do you even know what it means to be a YouTuber?

The average person with an average job has 1 task or multiple tasks within the same field.
Example: IT technician can handle software and hardware but it all falls under the umbrella of IT

A YouTuber? DOES IT ALL!

Let me share with you the jobs I have as a YouTuber:

Researcher
Director
Writer
Videographer
Lighting tech
Audio Engineer
Set design
Wardrobe Stylist
Beautician
Makeup Artist
Designer
Graphic Designer
Editor
Social media management specialist
Social media optimization specialist
Social media marketing specialist
Search Engine Optimization specialist
Blogger
Author
Musician
Product Developer
Product manager
Web designer
Web developer
E commerce specialist
IT Technician (things break often while in the process of doing it ALL)

P.s, I went to school for NONE OF IT! Everything I ever learned or know about any of these fields was Self-taught.

While still having the duty of being a mother, wife, daughter, and friend. MY time effort and energy is SPENT. I don't know a 9-5. Most days I work 5-5. 5am to 5am and beyond. but...

I LOVE THE MADNESS

My subscribers are worth all of this and more. I'm almost always reading 7 different books at a time, why? Because I don't want to become the Jack of all trades. I want to be a master of as many as I possibly can. In addition I'm dedicated to making EVERY video better than my last in as many areas as I possibly can.

I get NO help and didn't get where I am due to collabs. I don't believe in knocking on doors, I kick them down! It's the only way to get where you want without being dependent on anybody or anything.

I would love to share with all of you what it takes for me to create 1 video so you could truly see and understand what you're getting yourself into.

Although, there is a heavy price to pay with your time being monopolized. There were 5 people in my life I wanted to take care of when I became successful. Recently, I lost 3 of those family members suddenly. Now, not only will I NEVER get the chance to do what I wanted for and with them, but I can't get back the time I spent on YouTube and give it back to them instead of neglecting them.

Everyone is not going to have to do all I do, I understand that, but still the question remains:

Are you willing to do what it takes to be a successful YouTuber? Key word SUCCESSFUL

Well success on youtube involves quite a bit of luck as well. Sometimes you may be doing great and have great content but not be famous or recognized other cases you may be famous for the most stupid of reasons... But in the end there is no secret or ultimate formula to be successful on youtube...

I disagree 100% there is NO luck involved. Except for the people who genuinely don't plan their Viral video and it just happens <--- that's luck

There is no such thing as doing great, having great content and not being recognized.

The magic formula isn't secret. It's called Hardwork, dedication, and making every video better than your last in every way, shape, form and fashion.

^ I don't know 1 person doing that who isn't successful, if you do, please show me their channel. I'd love to find that unicorn.

I do agree that it does come with some type of luck. Have to be in the right moment at the right time kinda deal.. But it does take hardwork and tons of time..

Again, I completely disagree with that. What luck is involved in SEO? You put yourself in the right place at the right time with SEO. There is NO luck involved. This is the kind of thinking that keeps small youtubers small (I used to think like this)

You have to take what you want. This is not the lottery. Your videos are not like buying a bunch of lottery tickets and hoping you will get "Lucky" and win.

When you actually work hard? You actually know the winning numbers, you just have to go to the teller hand in your ticket and collect your prize, that simple!

Okay. So what are my 'winning numbers' It is in NO way that easy. Its just not a magical thing where you go hey make this video it will be the one that goes viral. because what you go viral for and what i go viral for will be complete opposite. I could do the same thing in each of my videos that you do and we will have different ratings.

You still don't get it, so let me explain

First let me explain SEO because maybe that's the part you're missing. Search engine optimization is when you give your video all of the elements it needs in order for you to rank in the search engines. So when people search for whatever your topic is about? They will find your video, watch, and if you did what you was supposed to? Subscribe!

Oh and let me say this because apparently the way I type is offensive or makes people think I'm coming off mean, and I swear I'm not. I'm genuinely trying to be helpful so listen up.

Winning Numbers =
Step 1: You study your analytics thoroughly
Step 2: You write down the title for the video you want to create
Step 3: You search engine optimize it
Step 4: You create the video with everything you gathered in mind and produce the best production you possibly can
Step 5: You Search engine optimize your video
Step 6: Post

THE END

That is your winning ticket that you are simply turning in. You hand your video to the search engines, the spiders crawl your content and they say AWESOME! You rank, people watch, people subscribe, the end.

You consistently develop amazing content and it's REALLY that simple.

I'm here to tell you "IT IS THAT EASY", but the work that goes into it? IS NOT!

Try searching for "One Minute Economics" he is someone who does good videos with a lot of effort and etc, but does not have a lot of fame. Other than that a new band that is trying their youtube channel called "The Future that I fear" channel/UCdu7hYNYRbnyrcr3vz8H2cw As well as several others.

"Except for the people who genuinely don't plan their Viral video and it just happens" -- That is luck.

Once more there is no successful formula to become famous on youtube. Its more about getting that 1 video that goes viral, even then that does not guarantee success or fame on YouTube or getting you subscribers.

Thank you so much for giving me examples that prove my point!

"One Minute Economics" Has NO clue what he's doing with SEO, or he would be ranking and getting the traffic / popularity

"The future that I fear" horrific example. They actually used the same thumbnails twice 0_o not to mention their SEO is off to the point that YouTube will demote them in the search engines for their mistakes.

If they learned SEO or had someone Search Engine Optimize their video and channels? They would have the popularity they desire.

My original quote still stands. There are people that actually PLAN viral videos. They have a team of marketers, designers, sales people etc, come up with a strategy to get videos shared. There are youtubers that will tell you they ask themselves if a video is sharable before they post it, if not, they wont. Those are people who PLAN for viral videos.

If you don't plan it and it just happens? That's luck!

Why not take control of your destiny and just learn SEO? Makes no sense to me, it's like people either want to fail or want something to be handed to them.

Being successful on youtube has NOTHING to do with getting 1 viral video. Absolutely NOTHING! You don't ever have to have a "viral" video and you can still be successful. The key is you want to make great content and make sure it places in the search engine - that is the formula! <----- that will guarantee success

"Thank you so much for giving me examples that prove my point!" -- Sorry but I was replying to your first post reply of mine. Also I do not see how I gave examples that prove your point.

"If they learned SEO or had someone Search Engine Optimize their video and channels? They would have the popularity they desire." -- Not necessarily, even thou search engine does impact a lot on the algorithm new channels or channels that have no popularity or people advertising them are extremely hard to prosper on their own, due to the algorithm that YouTube has, displaying the more popular videos first, that is why its so hard for new channels to get views on their videos, just by the search engine alone.

"My original quote still stands. There are people that actually PLAN viral videos. They have a team of marketers, designers, sales people etc, come up with a strategy to get videos shared." -- What if I told you someone plans their viral video but it does not go viral what then? Even after all the marketeers and etc, and the video is good, it is not bad and etc.

So far you have not proven anything or provided any proof that I have proven your point. In a perfect world maybe all of this will be true but this is not a perfect world, and neither is YouTube perfect :)
