When it comes to streaming on YouTube or Twitch a lot of people like to use green screens but I think people ENGAGE more when they can see your surroundings.
If it comes to me I prefer just plain old square/rectangle , I can see you , I can see your surroundings. I dislike green screen because you just look like a floating head; which is really weird to look at.

yep webcam gives viewer something to see, the main idea of webcam is to let viewers see you. green screen just messes up the illusion and really doesn't give any sort of advantage.
