Using the PS4 to record

I have a game capture but I also have a PS4. Which should I record my game play with? Which would be better quality? I just need some advice from some people who know because i'm starting YouTube back up again and it's been a while since i've done gaming. Mainly just IRL stuff.

personally, i use both, the capture card for planned videos, and the PS4 for the spontaneous parts that just sort of happened, they both give off the same quality depending on your capture card, i hope this helps you

Ps4 will skip some parts.

I don't have a capture card but I find the PS4 to capture things quite well. Sometimes I have a problem where it won't record but you just have to be mindful about pressing the right buttons and such. But the quality and sound is perfect.
