Hey everyone!
First post, hope im in the right place for this. Im very new to YouTube! I got very confused watching some of my favorite content creators recently. Since I learned a bit on how to edit and what not, I came across a video of Monto playing Dead by Daylight - in the video, he zooms into the game to show a specific description in game, however, his camera stayed where it was at. Now he is still uploading and growing and id say very successful.
My question is, is it better to record the camera/audio separate from the game or whatever content is on the screen using different programs? I use OBS to record, and it does everything I needed it too. I can control the audio levels and quality of the recording - but when researching I came across a number of YouTuber's who use 2 or more different programs to make a video. Is it better to do this? Or is OBS capable of creating the same level of quality in the year 2019?
