Request THUMBNAILS OMG

Do you guys know what would cause it to reject a thumbnail? For the trailer I figured I might just use my avatar since it would make sense to brand it kind of but it keeps giving me an error message, is it a sizing thing?

it might be a file size, the max size is 2mb for a thumb

yep it's 2 mb, how do I shrink it?

you could use an image compressor or quickly shove it into a photo editing software and save it as a lower sized png file or even a jpeg, that's what I do normally

Whats the size?

Example: 400x250[DOUBLEPOST=1403632552,1403632476][/DOUBLEPOST]U could give it to one of us and we can shrink it[DOUBLEPOST=1403632593][/DOUBLEPOST]Or you could save it as a JPEG as the other designer stated

I think I just figured it out, I found a site called tiny PNG and I think it worked, but thank you [DOUBLEPOST=1403632993,1403632710][/DOUBLEPOST]
When it downloaded it added black bars, so now both thumbs have black bars and I'm almost wondering if that could be the reoccurring theme of my thumbnails what are you guys' thoughts?
