Third Party Claim Still earning Rev?

I've got a vid that managed to get 200,000 views but was showing up as zero earnings while all my other vids were updating. I checked it out and ads weren't showing GRRRRR. So i turn off monetization and turned it back on and then ads showed up. DAMN one of my most viewed videos now and i missed out :(. This ever happened to anyone?

Anyway after the ads showed up it then got claimed under third party 24 hours later(miley cyrus parody video)

The next 2 days it earned 15 dollars. Then this big blackout happened so I dunno what's going on. can you still earn money when the company only claims audio? not visual?

Did you use the exact same audio as the original track? Or did you redo the vocals? Did you remade the audio? This is so hard to answer without seeing the actual video. I don't think you can earn revenue from it when they claim it as theirs.

i don't wanna show the video but it involves nick cage... Also for future refernece what's the best way to tweak audio so it doesn't come under third party. will a simple frequency change and / or reverb work?

Okay I did a quick search, this one came closest to the 200K views mark: youtube.com/watch?v=-0vB1-ChB_E
If that is your video, then there is no way you will ever be able to make money from it since the audio is an exact copy and the video material used is copyrighted, even though it is edited. And even then, that footage is copied from another Nicolas Cage / Miley Cyrus parody that currently has over 3 million views, so that is a double no way you can ever monetize that.

ah well. it brang it tonnnnnnes of subs and views on other vids so it's all good. na that one aint mine. i privated mine after the third party

Okay, well even then Youtube will not like it when you get claims a lot, so be careful with it.
