The 'Claim' feature been transformed to monetizing?

Is it just me, or has anyone else seen their 'Claim/copyright' been turned into monetizing? Why has this happened exactly?

Yeah there's been about 3 threads on this lately, we think it's just a glitch or something but I shouldn't think it'll make any difference to your earnings providing that settings and options are still the same.

Oh, ok. Thanks Frankie. I think my optiona are all the same, still partnered, so I guess it must be a glitch....Thanks
 
You should be fine. To check if you're still partnered just go to your youtube account features (i wish i could link :( )
 
Turns out this change is actually permanent and not a glitch. Enjoy the $ signs all! It's just an Icon change so no big deal.
