Stage 10! Almost half way there and 6 months in! Maybe I will be be there in anther 6 months? LOL Something to Dream about! This is awesome! Thanks for this![DOUBLEPOST=1482927649,1482927120][/DOUBLEPOST]I think 99% of the people here would love to reach 1 million subscribers one day. A mentor of mine once told me to break any big impossible looking task into small ones. So I divided the path to a million subscribers into 21 stages. Everyone knows how to get 1 subscriber which is stage 1, and every time you double, that's another stage. So in order to get to a million, all you need to do is find a way to become 2 Times better at getting subscribers 21 times. Simple Right?
Stage 1: 1 subscriber
Stage 2: 2 subscribers
Stage 3: 4 subscribers
Stage 4: 8 subscribers
Stage 5: 16 subscribers
Stage 6: 32 subscribers
Stage 7: 64 subscribers
Stage 8: 128 subscribers
Stage 9: 256 subscribers
Stage 10: 512 subscribers
Stage 11: 1024 subscribers
Stage 12: 2048 subscribers
Stage 13: 4096 subscribers
Stage 14: 8192 subscribers
Stage 15: 16384 subscribers
Stage 16: 32768 subscribers
Stage 17: 65536 subscribers
Stage 18: 131072 subscribers
Stage 19: 262144 subscribers
Stage 20: 524288 subscribers
Stage 21: 1048576 subscribers
I'm at stage 13 going to 14. What stage are you in and how far do you think you can go?
It does seem quicker going from 500 on to 1,000! Hopefully quicker after each 1,000! Not sure about the Algo though, seems to have messed up everyone here latelyI'm also at stage 13 heading towards 14.
As for how far I think I can go, I honestly think anyone here can reach stage 21+ with a little hard work. Over time the amount of people with access to computers grows, and the amount of people using YouTube grows. So each year it becomes easier to reach 1M subs than it was the year prior.
That coupled with the fact that the bigger your channel grows, the easier it is to keep growing through the snowball effect that YouTube tends to have - means it's more or less inevitable if we're still here several years from now ^^
Plus, the YouTube algorithm is being better optimised each year, and the latest change in particular made it a lot easier for channels to grow, so that's always a plus too.
I really like the stages you set up because I think it actually more accurately reflects the climb. It takes way longer to get the first 500 than it takes to go from say 1K to 2K.
