I could use your help this thanksgiving, and the coming holidays too...
a few years back on thanksgiving I made cheesecake filled donut holes and pumpkin spice crispy treats I took to a family dinner. After dinner was over I packed up the abundant extras I had made and left early enough to stop at three major hospitals on the way back to where I lived. I gave the emergency room staff plates of treats.
To this day I do this during any holiday in which emergency room staff are there to treat those who need them instead of being home with families of their own while we are with ours. But it was obvious to even me on that first night that there just isn't enough I can do as one person.
That's where you come in. I want others to do this too. I've no idea how to get the word out, I just want more people doing this. How can we encourage this further?
