Hi!

could someone please explain this new law to me. I have a YouTube channel which there is a mixture of videos including interviews, promo videos and comedy sketches.

Bur what really is confusing is the label “Made for Kids”. Should this box be ticked in if you are purposely drawing your attention to kids? Like using sounds, voices, gestures etc to kids OR should it be ticked in if your videos are just ok for kids to watch, meaning there is nothing for kids to worry about?

Ive set my whole channel on “NOT Made for Kids” just so it wont draw kids attention. Is that the wrong move?

thank you very much!

You should only check the box if it is specifically targeted at kids, rather than adults. Like Nickelodeon or Cartoon Network on regular TV. General audience content is appropriately labeled as "not for kids."
