I think mine is around 1 in 400. I would like it to be better.
Probably the reason for your bad ratio is, because many of the people that watch your videos are already subscriber?

I need 268 views to get one sub. It's okay, but could be better...

I'd bet 80%+ of your views are not from subscribers.
To be honest I thought the same xD some of my videos have done reasonably well when compared to others but for the most part I reckon the bulk of my traffic comes from people who are looking to remember a film they saw once and have found my video while looking for information...they find the 1 film they're looking for and then they move on...there not really interested in picking my content up week on week...though at least *For the most part* it would seem that the people who have subscribed to my channel are watching my content fairly regularly :) so that's somewhat of a plus :)

43.48 views per subscriber. Then again I only have 567 subs (no sub4subs!) so it's a very small sample size.

Most of my views come from people that aren't subscribed my most popular video has 1.1k views and only a few where actually subscribed.
