Yes that's why I'm saying good luck. They aren't at fault until they reject the claim and give you a strike, the content ID system is Google's system, on ocassion it picks up things it shouldn't and on ocassion certain companies abuse it. You could try to sue YouTube for that but they run a tight ship, the only time it can really be taken to court is if the company files a false DMCA takedown, hence the reason I'm saying good luck.
