This just proves one ting. Use games from those that allow it. Give those games massive publicity by doing it, that will lead to increased sale, and let the other devs/publishers see that it actually benefits them.

Or, you might use footage from places that doesn't allow you to earn money on them, to get more publicity for yourself, but then, don't complain when content matches comes in :)

We will see how it goes ^^ maybe the companies will go so far and tell us not to play the games? ;) just buy the games and put them in the closet :D
or they will force us to buy the game, then they take it back from us :hot:

I don't think it will go down as bad until January, that's when the real madness happens. I've been watching Dspgaming's vlog about his content claims etc... It's a clear broken system, literally broken! But, he basically said at the end of all this, till it blows over if you have (gameplay with commentary- dispute) if you have a good network you will be sorted out. (Gameplay with official OST-dispute) again with a decent network you will be alright because its google and youtube not all developers putting out claims. Finally, if you have (gameplay with official music (not OST made just for the game) DO NOT TRY DISPUTE, this is straight from the music companies. For example he shows various videos that have been claimed because they have jingle bell rock within them however, he was able to get back videos with the OST.
NOTE: He says you never try dispute so much so you have the 'appeal' button only, because if you dispute 2 times you are left with the appeal button and if you appeal, and they deny it you will get a strike.

Gaming is far from over. Let's say all big companies said screw off no videos. Most everyone would just move onto indie games which they can't do anything about unless the indie game dev clearly says no vids (which hardly any of them do).

To all Let's Player youtubers check out canweletsplay(dot)com, myself included check this website out. This is basically a website that updates what games from certain companies are safe for you to Let's Play. Its organized into Green = Completely Safe and monetizable Blue = Safe and monetizable with some slight conditions, Black = Not monetizable Red = Not monetizable and heavily copyright-protected.

As far as we have seen, MOST companies are fine with the way things used to be, Nintendo however is not.

Off the topic of the whole shirt example, I think that it will be some much more difficult on smaller channels, such as myself, my friends, and some amazing people I've met since my channel started. The bigger channels have bigger partners, so they may very well be fully protected, and while I enjoy big channels like Pewdiepie, and think he's earned all of what he has, I just think a sense of equality is in order here.
