i turned them off of my popular videos and have see an noticeable increase in CPC and revenue.... not huge but definitely noticeable
 
Well I guess you will, as people now have to watch the ad. Each to their own but don't think I'd do that as people might just not bother to wait :oops:
 
personally i just let people skip the ads if they want to. i'm not that big, and even if i were, i wouldn't care alot about making extra money. what matters to me are that people enjoy watching my videos, if i get money out of it that's great, but i wouldn't force them to watch ads just so i could get more money before they get to the actual video
 
i guess people do not know what it means to turn ads OFF, as in not there, doesnt have an add. lol WOW

The overlays are still there just not the Trieview lol

Well with the title being "Skippable ads" then writing "I turned them off" sounds like you turned off the skippable one but left the ones that you can't. Just a wording mixup :)
 
Correlation does not equal causation. Overlay ads do not pay more CPC than skippable trueview.
