Hey guys
Im kinda frustrated, I have a tech channel 2700 subs and when I upload a video its buried 3-7 pages deep sometimes. What frustrates me is the fact I was under the impression when you type something in the search it will match the Title up in order with what you searched for, for example

I have a video called "Xperia Z vs Xperia SP" their is only 1 other video with that title yet im buried 9 pages deep?
My channel is TotalTechWar
So totally irrelevant videos are showing before my video.
why is this happening??

In contrast another small Tech youtuber always manages to have his videos at the very top of the page even in front of major channels with 200,000 subs and therefore his channel has exploded.
His channel is called "SuperSafTV"
an example "Nexus 4 vs Galaxy S3"
Its the top of the list, before all the Major Channels as well.
What is he doing that im not doing??

Do you use proper tags/descriptions/titles (SEO)?

I wonder if it has something to do with tags and keywords in your description? Possibly.
If not, I'm not sure.

It is probably your tags and description, I always put my title exactly as it is above in the tags.

try to make some good tags when you upload a video. also how many views do you get on your videos, because thats also something that matters

I make my tags exactly whats in my title and i also put it in commas

so it would be "xperia z vs xperia sp"

what more can i do, are there any secrets with tags?

is it meant to be like this instead

'xperia z vs xperia sp'

and with the description i put the title again in their .

Use google keywords to find the best tags suited to your video, just search what you want to rank high for and then pick out low competition high searched phrases relevant to your video.

yea i fill my tags with everything that is related to the phone, also why is the other tech channels videos ranked so high, his tags are just normal tags like everyone else??

Maybe their video is more popular and they also have the same tags you have in their videos. I think youtube search is more likely to bring up certain key words.
