RPM or Creator X

So is RPM good for a gaming channel? I once Fullscreen doesn't have gaming liscences either, but my friend's channel with them is all about gaming.

The thing about needing networks to monetize gaming is a myth, as long as your content falls under fair usage you will be fine.

RPM's a joke now. Go with Creator X.

RPM is not a joke now...not completely. Read my forum post about their new system! :) A lot of people are complaining about the new contracts at 0 views and stuff and how they suck-but there is a new system with 2 different rev share contracts! :)

I'm glad I came across this thread. I applied for "Creator X" this morning, and then I stumbled upon the "RPM" YouTube account. It was pretty legit. They have over 80k subscribers and were featuring their RPM users. However, I'm gonna go with the overall judgement of this group. I'm going to choose "Creator X".

I'm actually going to move from CreatorX to RPM in 1 month. The only thing that will keep me there is a much better offer or a 6 months contract.

Why are you switching? I know close to nothing about both of these companies. Feel free to go into detail.

Because my dream is going into The Game Station. I want to work with people who actually like working on creating the videos, creating a show, discussing about games. TGS is the only place I saw youtubers do that. I'm sick of "look how scared I am" videos & let's plays. People who just hit the record button and talk about s**t.

So I'm changing now because I don't want another year on my contract. I might try Union for Gamers first because they don't have a lockup and after some time join TGS directly (if possible of course).

Joining RPM means that I can join TGS directly since they are under the same network. I simply don't want to be locked up another year on another network.

For other reasons, I don't really see an advantage. On Creator X forum is spam. Only people whining about "Why arn't our videos promoted?" BECAUSE THEY ARE s**t THAT"S WHY. People only complain, they don't think. They don't look at themselfs trying to improve their skills. Other than that, Creator X has the Gorilla thing where they have a high CPM if you do something... which makes you look for a sellout + if you don't have any viewers there is no point on doing anyway.

Support was fast answering (max 1 day). I personally got a manager... tried to contact him to ask him some questions. Actually trying to involve myself by asking questions and not wait for magically stuff to happen... I have been told that I have been doing a very good job in comparations to others and then I got some really general suggestions. Payment has always been on time. They have a new dashboard that looks ok.

Anyway, I have 2 channels. One will remain there... my main channel will be moved because as I have said I aim high and I don't want to be locked.
